STEP-N-STOR

Everyone knows how much I love my truck. I have been driving pick up trucks for over 30 years and when I started to haul show cars, hot rods and lots of other heavy gear, I stepped up to a diesel powered pick up truck.

I chose the one-ton variety with dual rear wheels affectionately called a “Dually”. These trucks can handle just about anything you can throw at them and they work as hard as I need them to. The rear axles and suspension are built tough to work hard, but that brings another set of circumstances into play.

These trucks are usually very high in the rear especially when they aren’t weighed down with a trailer and getting up into the bed is tough. I already had a step in my receiver hitch that allowed me to step up to access the bed, but that step was useless if the tailgate was down. I needed something more……something better……something easier on my legs and back.

I found the answer! The STEP-N-STOR tailgate step. What a great piece of good old-fashioned American Ingenuity.

It has everything you could ask for:

Easy Installation using a marker and a cordless drill. (I did my first one in under 20 minutes)

Safe and quiet operation with no rattles and it locks in place

Steel construction with a 700 pound capacity.

Universal fit to work on most full size and small pick up trucks.

Left or right side installation

Takes up almost no useable cargo space.

The STEP-N-STOR makes getting up into the back of your pick up truck safe and easy while saving your back and legs.

Here are some pictures of me on the farm unloading some barrels and wood from the bed of my Dually. Open the tailgate, grab the STEP-N-STOR handle and with one movement, the steps fold down and you are ready to access the back of you pick up truck. It is powder coated and has non-slip surfaces on the steps to add to its safety and long life.

I keep showing it off to my friends with trucks and they are jealous.
