Sams Garage #2
Opening up Garage #2's ceiling for a lift

Sam and Joe are opening up Garage # 2's ceiling to gain headroom for a lift.  The original 8 foot ceilings won't allow clearance. Sam & Joe fabricated a roof support bridge using heavy wall steel tubing uprights and bar joists welded.

2 x 6 & 2 x 4 collar Ties were nailed in place with notches to center them on the bar joist.  Total span is 12 feet & the roof is very strong.  Now to save up for a new 4 post Backyard Buddy Lift
